સંસ્મરણ: પોર્ટરના પંજામાં – સરળ ભાષામાં
એક બીજી વાર પણ મોડાસાથી તલોદ આવ્યા તો ગાડીનો ઝાંપો બંધ હતો. અમારી બેલગાડીમાં ત્રણ જણ; પૅસેન્જરની રાહ જોતાં ગાડીવાળાએ ગાડી ઉપાડી.
સ્ટેશને સામાન વધારે, મજૂર મળવો મુશ્કેલ – ત્યાં એક પોર્ટર આવ્યો અને અમને ‘સાધવા’ લાગ્યો – જાણે અમે એના પંજામાં!
