Karsandas Manek (1901–1964), born in Karachi, pen-name ‘વૈશંપાયન’, wrote ‘ખાખનાં પોયણાં’ and ‘મહાભારતને મંડપે’.

આ વિશ્વ તો ઈશ્વરનો આવાસ છે – આકાશ, તારા, ધરતી, નદીઓ, વૃક્ષો – બધે એની હાજરી છે.
આપણે તો અહીં થોડા દિવસના અતિથિ છીએ; યજમાન તો ઈશ્વર છે.
માટે અતિથિની જેમ નમ્રતાથી, આભાર અને પ્રેમથી જીવીએ – ઈશના ઘરને સ્વચ્છ અને સુંદર રાખીએ.
