About the writer: Ushnas
Ushnas (Natwarlal Pandya, 1920–2011) was a major Gujarati poet – ‘પ્રસૂન’, ‘તૃણનો ગ્રહ’ – and won the Ranjitram Suvarnachandrak and Sahitya Akademi Award.
કાવ્ય: અષાઢે – સરળ ભાષામાં
અષાઢ આવ્યો – આકાશે કાળાં વાદળ, વીજળીના ચમકારા, ધરતીની મહેક.
પરોઢિયે ખેડૂત પછેડી ઓઢી હળ લઈ ખેતરે ચાલ્યો; આંગણે વરસાદનાં ટીપાં નાચે છે.
