તરસ્યો કાગડો

એક ગરમ બપોરે એક કાગડો ખૂબ તરસ્યો હતો. તે પાણીની શોધમાં ઊડતો રહ્યો.
દૂર સુધી ઊડ્યા પછી તેણે એક ઘડો જોયો. તે ઘડા પાસે ગયો.
ઘડામાં થોડું પાણી હતું, પણ પાણી નીચે હતું. કાગડાની ચાંચ પાણી સુધી પહોંચતી નહોતી.
કાગડાએ વિચાર્યું. તેને એક ઉપાય સૂઝ્યો.
તેણે આસપાસથી નાના નાના કાંકરા લાવ્યા. એક પછી એક ઘડામાં નાખ્યા.
કાંકરાઓથી પાણી ઉપર આવ્યું. કાગડાએ આનંદથી પાણી પીધું.
આ વાર્તાનો બોધ – “જ્યાં બુદ્ધિ ત્યાં માર્ગ.” મહેનતથી બધું શક્ય છે.
🇬🇧 English Translation
One hot afternoon a crow was very thirsty. He kept flying in search of water.
After flying far he saw a pot. He went to the pot.
There was little water in the pot, but water was below. Crow’s beak could not reach water.
Crow thought. He got an idea.
He brought small pebbles from around. Put them one by one in the pot.
With pebbles water came up. Crow drank water happily.
Moral of this story – “Where there is wisdom, there is a way.” With hard work everything is possible.
