Lesson 14 at a glance
Jhalak comes home excited – her school is going on a trip to Ajwa-Nimeta near Vadodara, with its big lake, gardens, swings and a musical fountain that dances to music at night! Little brother Manan insists on going too – ‘I want the same fun as Didi!’ – and sulks when told it’s only for her school. Mummy and Papa handle it with love and plan a family outing to a village farm just for him.

સંવાદ: એક છોકરો રિસાણો – સરળ ભાષામાં
ઝલક દોડતી ઘેર આવી, “મમ્મી! આજે સ્કૂલમાં નોટિસ આવી – પ્રવાસમાં જવાનું છે, આજવા-નિમેટા!” વનિતાબેને કહ્યું, “વાહ! તું નાની હતી ત્યારે આપણે ગયાં હતાં.”
ઝલકે વર્ણન કર્યું – મોટું સરોવર, બગીચો, લપસણી, હીંચકા અને રાત્રે મ્યુઝિકલ ફાઉન્ટન! પપ્પા મહેશભાઈએ સમજાવ્યું, “પાણીની સેર સંગીતના સૂર સાથે ઊંચી-નીચી થાય, જાણે પાણી ડાન્સ કરે!”
નાનો મનન બોલ્યો, “મારે પણ દીદી સાથે જવું છે!” ઝલક કહે, “ભઈલું, આ તો મારી સ્કૂલનો પ્રવાસ છે.” મનનનું મોઢું ચડી ગયું – એ તો રિસાઈ ગયો!
મમ્મી-પપ્પાએ મનનને પ્રેમથી પાસે બેસાડ્યો. “તારી સ્કૂલનો પ્રવાસ જશે ત્યારે તું જજે. અને આ રવિવારે આપણે બધાં ગામની વાડીએ ફરવા જઈશું!” મનનનું રિસામણું ગાયબ – અને ઘરમાં ફરી હસાહસ!
